East Midland Gundog Club AGM 2022

It
has been lovely to see so many of you at the Working Tests we have held
this year both for our Spaniels and Retrievers. As always, we thank
those of you that were able to help. We really could not do it without
you. We extend our continued thanks to the landowners who allow us to
use their ground, we are very lucky and greatly appreciate it. Well done
Rachel Hawley (Spaniel Working Test Secretary), and Suzie Hefford
(Retriever WorkingTest Secretary), and of course to all the committee
members who help to put these events on.
I
am pleased to inform you that we already have a full calendar of
Retriever trials in place due to the efficiency of our Field Trial
Secretary, Helen Swan. And thanks to our member, Victoria West, who has
stepped up and taken on the role as EMGC Spaniel Field Trial Secretary,
we will also now be able to put on some Spaniel trials. Victoria is new
to this role and will be supported by the whole committee but will be
mentored by our long-standing committee member and officer, Fiona Sims.
